Rutledge Claims Management / Rutledge Associates | Claims Examiner | December 2017 - February 2021

Collaborated with my assigned Claims Assistant, additional Claims Examiners, and the legal department to complete property claims to ensure mortgage companies recieved payment for damages.
Processed and completed about 200 property claims files for multiple different mortgage companies at any given time.
Learned and operated our internal system that processes and accurately displays the claim's status and what's required in order to complete the file.
Compiled claims data in Microsoft Excel every week with specific specifications for our clients to view and analyze.

Option One Consulting Engineers | Lead Secretary | December 2016 - September 2017

Processed and record all documents being sent out of the Engineering office by creating transmittals for efficient filing and documentation purposes.
Organized and streamline email and phone call information to their appropriate engineer while directly contacting our business partners on behalf of the office.
Assisted engineers by creating scans and copies of all calculations and plans.
Hired and train all new secretaries on all work duties inside the office, as well as track their progress and answer questions.

Advise and educate students on all aspects of job and internship searching, which includes critiquing resumes and cover letters, and conducting mock interviews.
Market Career Center services, programs, and events through outside tabling, weekly postering, and career fairs.
Attend weekly meetings with career counselors and other peer consultants to discuss the improvements and the development of each peer consultant and the internship program.
Conduct small-scale workshops for on-campus housing and student clubs at UCI with topics such as building a resume, interview search, and interviewing advice.
Enhance and develop interpersonal and communication skills through individual contact with students and other career counselors.
